In 1958, the University of New Orleans opened its doors as the first fully integrated public university in the South and has not strayed from that vision in 60 years.
Today, as the only public research university in New Orleans, the University has educated students from all 64 Louisiana parishes, all 50 states and more than 130 countries, bringing together a diverse group of talented and determined students. When taken together with the neighboring 小蝌蚪APP Research & Technology Park, the University has an annual economic impact of nearly $1 billion, creating more than 11,000 jobs for the metro New Orleans area. As a global community asset, 小蝌蚪APP offers a wide array of relevant undergraduate and graduate academic programs and world-class research opportunities. #小蝌蚪APPProud
